Lady Gaga,

I like what you're doing, style-wise. It takes balls or flaming titties, I guess, to wear the stuff you wear and I respect that. However, ganguro/Yamambas style, really? Talk about what goes around comes around. This style uses BLACK FACE (orange face?): japanese girls use fake tan and try to look like malabu barbie. This is, like many Japanese style tribes, a delightful inversion/saturation of what... I guess California/Miami visiual culture looks/looked like. And now, you're an american singer copying the japanese copying american dolls. I don't purport to be an expert on these things and I have to admit that this is whole style is growing on me...but it really gives me the heebie geebies. So, in essense, you're freaking me out Lady Gaga - I know that's what you're going for but still. Ew.

These have been out for ages now and my love for them has only grown. Just look at that high-waisted black skirt and sheer white button up with 1960s makeup...it's like they the styling for these shoes is secret message:

this dress is available and it is AMAZING. It's the traditional blue on white french pictoral fabric pattern, except this time, with treasure trolls. Seriously, I love this. I wish I had 600 or so dollars to blow on one dress. I can dream.
