Colours! The announcer in this video kept refering to these as "figure-skating-esque" as if it was a bad thing. The photos do not do these justice, the movement is so beautiful. And the colours are so rich! Yes to coloured tights and coloured dresses. So beautiful!

Doll Hairstyle

Looks like my straight across, long bangs and short dark hair are perfectly on-trend this season.

Although, I have to point out that Japan's カワイイ (KAWAII) Ambassadors (source and source) have been sporting "Doll" hairstyles since spring of last year. I bet I could pull up some KERA snaps from the early 00s that have the same hairstyles. I think what is being remarked upon in the later article is simply that Lolita hairstyles are being worn on mainstream fashionistas now too (like me and Avy!).
