One of the things I have learned about fashion at this level is the versatility of some models. To me Natalia always looks like Natalia...In this month's Vouge, the one with Reese Witherspoon, they have a spread of her with some children in the most beautiful bohemian style floral dresses, but she definitively has a signature expression (wide eyed and pouty lipped = jealousy). Then of course, Vero and I watch Top Model and often every photo the judges choose of a person has the girl making the same face.
In these two photos the lighting and wardrobe is different, but the makeup is exactly the same. The difference between the intensity and angst in the first photo, (which, to me, tells the story of a desert war where the second photo could be an/her orphaned child) and the second photo's innocence is the model's facial expression and the tension/whimsy conveyed with her hands and body. I like that they kept the freckles on her stomach in the second photo, her stomach even looks like she has some baby fat rounding it out... Cute! Also, I want those bloomers.
