I've always said that they will keep making X-Men movies if they can maintain a copyright and I keep paying to watch them. I am posting about this because I have become more excited about this film for two reasons: 1. Ryan Renolds is going to be in it (I heart him so much I have a life-size poster of him in my basement and him marrying scarjo: I don't know who I'm more jealous of.) 2. MOTHER FUCKING GAMBIT is going to be in it.
If you were with me in the theater for X2 - you will remember me FREAKING OUT over the name "Remy" on a computer screen in the scene where Mystique is hacking somethingorother... And then in the tragedy of a "film" that was X-Men: The Last Stand (which I LOVED even though it was terrible and botched many, many, many suberb themes/scenes/characters/story lines from the comics) Gambit had a cameo but was cut out of the final film.
Gambit is the sexiest character in the whole of the x-men comics and now he is FINALLY going to be on the big screen. MAY 2009, ladies! Mark your calenders now.
