Tea Party

Okay, so I think it is about time that I toss around my idea for a big photoshoot with you two and Kim when she comes over here. I'm thinking the theme should be a tea party. This is for many (selfish) reasons:

1. I have an incredible purple party dress that is semi-lolita-ish and I want pictures of me wearing it because I haven't been brave enough to take it public.

2. This theme has a great capacity for irony or darkness - while I may lean towards a more literal, childish interpretation because of my love of everything lolita, the three of you could certinally take it in a different direction.
3. I have so many cool toys and precious things that would make great visual easter eggs in the photo, tons of hello kitty stuff, stuffed animals, frilly stuff...my sister has the most beautiful collectors china Ainsley tea cups, and then you could throw terrible stuff in there like handcuffs, knives, dildos, ect.

So, I think if everyone brings two (minimum) outfits, we can do this FOR REALS and do hair, makeup, lighting, (all you need is several desk lamps with high wat bulbs in them), staging and have the most incredible pictures of the four of us, and then portraits of us individually.

Why put all of this effort into some photos? First, because Vero and I love to take pictures, second, because the Metropolitan is doing another photo issue (deadline Nov. 15th) which the two of us were going to submit to anyways. Three, because it's halloween. Four, because it's a super fun thing for us to do all together!

The only thing I haven't nailed down is a location. My room is WAY WAY too small and the red walls reflect the light in a funny way...

Vero and Ish - what are your thoughts?

1. I always think your ideas are brilliant, and I love taking pictures with you ladies

2. For space, my apartment is always open to whatever uses you can think of (especially sexy ones)

3. Can I have ribbons in my hair?

i am overwhelmed by how good this idea is.
As for a location.. if it isn't too cold outside, we might be able to use my parents' outside patio, v. cute, nice vistas? K what do you think?

If not.. then we could do a picnic tea party at beacon hill?

my basement apartment is always free but no socialite would ever have a tea party here.

WHEN!?!??
